The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the metro which gives access to the city centre in a very short time. The hotel itself isn’t just a simple hotel, it’s a complete lively community, made up of students, tourists and visitors of all kinds. There are always new daily activities, there are many different spots where you can chill out and spend some time by yourself or with friends, including study rooms. All of that with a restaurant, bar and snacks shop access too. Gym and laundry included. The room was very spacious, almost like a little studio of its own. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was equipped for people with disabilities. I had the chance to interact with the staff on multiple occasions and I always found them very friendly and helpful.

We booked a room at the Social Hub for 4 days to visit Amsterdam as the location is very close to the metro station (not even 5 mins walk) so it was quite easy and fast to get to the city centre and even to other places like the airport (approx. 40 mins between metro and train). Our room was nice and warm with a beautiful view and modern decor. We enjoyed the presence of a coffe machine and a kettle, so we could make coffee and tea in the room. You can also have breakfast in the hotel and if you book that in advance you should get some discounts. The accomodation is truly a social hub, where you can see students, workers and tourists, there are many common spaces even for playing table tennis and billiard, many events and activities are also organized every month.

The Location: Situated in a great area with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and most importantly a Metro station connected to the main line to Amsterdam Centraal - This was my daily commute into the city that literally took 15minutes. The Room: I have stayed at The Social Hubs in other cities and the standard is consistent across the board. A comfortably sized room with everything you need. The Staff: One of the greatest assets of this hotel - they literally go above and beyond to assist wherever they can, there is always someone at reception, even at midnight to attend to your needs. From the day I arrived up until the day I left, every member of staff that was available assisted me in some way or another - I'm truly grateful for that.

The room was incredibly comfortable with a cozy mattress and pillows, blackout curtains, stylish decor, and a bathtub (we specifically requested a bathtub over a shower). In January, the room was overall warm (for wearing flannel pajamas). I liked the breakfasts; there were plenty of options to choose from, but the selection for vegans was very limited. The location is ideal – just a 2-minute walk to the metro, and then a 10-minute ride to the city center. I've stayed in the heart of Amsterdam before, and it was much less enjoyable due to the crowds, but this hotel offers the perfect balance.
